Befitting its beautiful and serene campus, Saintgits offers separate and secure residential facilities for boys and girls, which are intended to make them comfortable and serve as a home away from home, while providing an environment conducive to intellectual growth and personality development.
The hostel life is intended to ensure that students from diverse states and backgrounds learn to live harmoniously and with self-discipline. Resident wardens and Faculty wardens are in charge of the welfare of the students, and provide necessary guidance if they face any problem.
The hostel rooms offer modern facilities and privacy, and ragging is strictly prohibited. The dining hall provides all kinds of cuisines and healthy food in a hygienic environment. The students’ common room has TV and indoor games. Internet and computer facilities are available, along with generators for backup power supply. Security guards are on duty round the clock for protection of students.
Students not staying with their parents should ideally stay in the hostel or their local guardians. They are strictly forbidden to reside in unapproved lodgings. Students seeking hostel facilities must apply in the prescribed admission form with two passport size photographs and remit the caution deposit in the college office.
All hostelites are expected to maintain personal cleanliness and dress appropriately as befits a future professional.
The Faculty Warden or Resident Warden is responsible for redress of student grievances during their stay in the hostel. Smoking, use of alcohol or any other intoxicant is totally prohibited.
