About the Department Library
The Department Library of Applied Electronics & Instrumentation was set up in 2006 to support the educational mission of the College and fulfil the information needs of diverse user communities. In accordance with the objective of the College, the library aims to develop a comprehensive collection of documents useful for researchers, the faculty and the student community.
Being the central hub of the teaching learning process of the Department, the library caters to the educational needs of the academic community. The Department Library is located in the CLC Block. The library remains open on all working days from 9.00 am. to 4.30 p.m. All the students, faculty and non-teaching staffs of the department are members of this library. In addition to the regular Library and Information services, Book Bank service is being provided to ensure essential study materials to all its members.
The department library is well equipped with a total of 333 books, including books donated by the outgoing students and staff. The titles include Electronics circuits, Measurements, Control Systems, Network Analysis, Digital Electronics, Digital Signal Processing, VLSI Design, Neural Networks, Fuzzy logic control, Microprocessor and Microcontroller, Electric circuits, Biomedical Instrumentation and competitive exam books. In addition, Periodicals, E Journals, Media Resources, various seminars conducted by the students in the department, mini project and final year main project documentations are made available to the students for reference.
The mission of the Library is to acquire, to organize, to utilize and to preserve the information sources and to extend effective and efficient service to the students, research scholars and faculty members of the college.

Circulation register is kept for recording the circulation details.
Period of loan for a book will be one semester for staff.
Renewal will not be granted if the book is under reservation.
The Librarian has the right to cut short the loan period if a book is of special demand and to recall any book on loan and cancel any reservation at any time.
Reference books and periodicals are not issued
