Add on courses help the students to gain additional knowledge in advanced programming tools and practices which helps them to contribute mainly on their academic projects. The topics are decided in consultation with Industry experts and academic community .
1. Add on Course in C programming language for 2015-2019 admission students
This add on course was designed so as to help the students in their Data Structures theory and Laboratory courses. This one week program was handled by our department faculty and students who were from non –computer background found the course really effective.
2. Python for Internet Programming
An add on course on Python for internet programming was conducted for the 2015 -2019 students. This program was conducted by experts from CDAC and in association with CSI Students branch.
3. Add on Course on Internet of Things for 2014-2018 admission students
This course was offered so that interested students can work on IoT and can come out with a prototype of their work. The sessions were handled by Industry experts.
1. Add on course on Android programming and python were organized for students of 2013-2017 batch.This has greatly helped the students in their academic projects .
2. Add on course on C programming was conducted for students from Non-computer background.This course was offered to all other branches who had C programming in their curriculum.
QEEE-Quality Enhancement in Engineering Education
QEEE has been constituted by the Ministry of Human Resources and Development (MHRD) with a necessity to bring about comprehensive reforms in technical education. SAINTGITS has become one of the partaking institutions in Quality Enhancement in Engineering Education (QEEE) programme of Department of Higher Education, MHRD, Government of India.
QEEE is a programme tailored to benefit mainly students and faculty. The main purpose is to introduce high quality lectures from IIT professors in latest topics to keep the students and faculty updated. The programme includes quizzes, assignments, tutorials and interactive sessions which are very beneficial to both students and faculty members.

Virtual Lab Courses enthuse students to conduct experiments by arousing their curiosity. This would help them in learning basic and advanced concepts through remote experimentation. Students can take up experiments of their choice from any system which has Internet connectivity. We encourage our students to take up these experiments along with the regular laboratory course. More than 300 students of Computer Science and Engineering department use this system regularly which is constantly monitored also.
Spoken Tutorial is an initiative by Ministry of Human Resource Development developed by IIT Bombay. This is a new learning system known as side by side methedology which is self paced and involves active participation of the students.Google has recognised the services offered by Spoken Tutorial courses . Students are enrolled into various courses which can directly impact with their curicculum. Various courses offered under this scheme are
Semester four students are enrolled in C Programming course. 51 students have successfully completed the course and has been certified by MHRD.
