ICGITS 2013 was conducted at Saintgits College Of Engineering from 4th to 6th April 2013. The Conference was organized by all the departments of SCE. The joint conference was a forum and provided an open platform for researchers and designers to present and discuss the latest innovations in Technology and Sciences. The technical papers in the Computer Science and Applications of ICGITS 2013 were published as special issues in International Journal of Computer Applications(IJCA).

The first national conference on Power Electronics Systems and Management hosted by the Electrical and Electronics department was held on 7th May 2011. Out of 53 papers reviewed, 30 papers were selected and 28 papers were presented in the conference. The conference was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. K P Mohandas (Professor, NIT, Calicut) by lighting the lamp and he delivered the inaugural address. After the inaugural function, the chief guest Prof. Dr. K P Mohandas gave a keynote address on "Recent Trends in Modelling of Systems". After the tea break, the paper presentation started at two venues. The panel members for the venues were:

Session I of both the venues came to an end at 1.00 pm. After the lunch the session II started at 1.30 pm and came to an end at 3.30 pm. The national conference became a grand success only because of the whole hearted support of the management and the tireless efforts of all the faculty members.
