Overview

Dr. Thomas Varghese holds his MBA in Marketing from Madras University and degree in Electrical Engineering from Regional Engineering College Calicut (NIT-C). He has an industrial experience of more than 20 years with a US based MNC- Cummins India Ltd with the last position being Assistant General Manager, Marketing at Cummins Power Solutions Ltd. He has attended the Faculty Development Program at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and is awarded Ph.D. in Services Marketing from CUSAT, Kochi. Prior to joining Saintgits, he was Director of the MBA Programme at DC School of Management and Technology, Vagamon. Specialization areas are Industrial & Services Marketing and Strategic Marketing. Prof. Thomas Varghese functions as the Chief Mentor of the MBA Programme and is in charge of the student development activities at SIM. He is also the coordinator for the collaborative program between Saintgits and California Institute of Technology (CALTECH, USA) in 'New Product Development for Developing World'.
