Personality development sessions which include group discussions, debates, business quizzes, management games, case studies, mock interviews etc. The department can utilise the MBA facilities for the academic and non academic development of the students. The programme should be enhancing & grooming student's outer & inner self so as to bring about a positive change in life. This program encompasses sessions of boosting one's confidence, improving communication skills, learning etiquettes & manners and developing emotional intelligence in an individual. It helps imbibe in oneself, the qualities of positivity, liveliness and grace and in overall grooming of an individual


Presentation Skills: Various presentation skills which is useful to the students in their academics and future studies such as MBA. It includes some learning programmes in PowerPoint presentations, various report presentations useful in industries, various computer based presentations and learning lessons in computer. It can include Infosys Campus Connect programme which is providing training for various presentation skills.


Communication Workshop- "The Communication Workshop" is to facilitate the development of effective communication skills and strategies. It has been felt that familiarity with theoretical concepts of "communication" does not ensure success in the application of these principles to real situations pertaining to organization and management. Therefore, the aims of this course will not only be to introduce the essentials of Business Communications Philosophy but course participants will be required to apply their knowledge, inferring and deducing solutions to problematic situations. This goal will be achieved by strategies integrated into well organized modules as a sequence of exercises.



Second year -



BEC is a certificate provided by British Council and Cambridge University aimed primarily at individual learners who wish to obtain a business related English language qualification.BEC helps one to get ahead in career, as it shows that you have learnt English at an appropriate standard and can use it in a professional context.

The test covers the four English language skills:

  1. Reading
  2. Writing
  3. Listening
  4. Speaking

BEC is available at three levels:

  1. BEC Preliminary
  2. BEC Vantage
  3. BEC Higher

All three levels of BEC are clearly linked to the Common European Framework for language assessment, published by the Council of Europe:

MAT: Management Aptitude Test (MAT)

MAT: Management Aptitude Test (MAT)is a standardised test being administered since 1988 to facilitate Business Schools (B-Schools) to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programmes.
