Career is a sequence of occupations, jobs or positions engaged in or occupied through out the lifetime of a person. The choice of and success within these roles are determined by factors like aptitude-, interest, value, need, capability acquired and induced, expectation and vision of a person. Choosing the right career is one of the most important and significant decisions, which an individual makes in his/her academic life. It is a decision that makes an impact in all spheres of one's own life. The career guidance cell of Saintgits College of Applied sciences identifies these needs and tries to address this through a series of programmes conducted all throughout the year.

With a view to address the assessed needs and thereby attain the objective, the career guidance cell had adopted a practice of conducting a series of seminars and workshops by renewed firms and experts in the field of human resources development. The programmes undertaken by the placement cell in each of the year is brought out below.
