Information about the admission procedure for seats allotted by the Management for B.Tech degree for academic year 2009-10 is given below. Visit this webpage for updates.

Admission is purely on Merit basis.

Rank is prepared on the basis of index mark obtained with 50:50 weightage for the percentage marks obtained in the Common Engineering Entrance Examination - 2009, Govt. of Kerala and percentage marks obtained for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th Standard.  The marks obtained in State Board/CBSE/ICSE for each subject are normalized with reference to the maximum marks obtained in that subject. Discrepancies, if any, are to be reported before 29th June 2009, 5.00 P.M. to the corporate office (0481-2584330/2300365)

Candidates who are eligible for TUITION FEE WAIVER SCHEME have to report to the college on Tuesday 30/06/2009 at 10.30 a.m. for allotment according to their rank obtained in the CEE-2009.  (*Rank list of Eligible Candidate - Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme)

Candidates are requested to report to the college as per the following schedule according to their ranks in the general rank list with the documents and DD.

 Please note:-

1. The branch will be allotted based on the rank and availability of seats in General Quota and Christian Community Quota at the time of counseling.
2.  Candidates can furnish their final higher options at the time of counseling and further allotment will be made from their higher options furnished. (Re arranging higher options will not be permitted after the time of counselling. If a candidate gets allotment to a particular branch based on his higher option, he/she is bound to accept it, failing which he/she will loose the allotment as well as further claim for any seat, unless the higher option is cancelled before the subsequent allotment..

3. Updated vacancy position in each branch will be available in the website after 6 PM daily/weekly.

4. Failure to report in time will lead to forfeiture of the claim to admission and it will be offered to the next candidate in the merit list.

Documents to be furnished at the time of COUNSELLING:-

1. Mark List and Pass Certificate (where applicable) of Plus II /or Equivalent in original.
2. SSLC/ Secondary Examination certificate in original for proof of age with one attested copy.
3. Physical fitness certificate in the format provided in the prospectus for Entrance Examination.
4. Transfer Certificate in original from the Institution last studied.
5. Conduct certificate from the Head of the Institution last studied.
6. Admit card of Entrance Examination in original.
7. Result sheet of the Entrance Examination 2009.
8. Four passport size (colour) photographs.
9. Migration certificate in original for students other than those passed Kerala PLUS 2, VHSE & THSE.
10. Eligibility Certificate from M G University for students other than those passed Kerala PLUS 2, VHSE, CBSE, ICSE, THSE.
11. Community/Income Certificate in original for SC/ST/OEC Categories.
12. Candidates who are selected for Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme have to produce the original certificates stating Income/physically handicapped.
13. Demand Draft favouring SAINTGITS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING payable at Changanassery as detailed below:-

         Annual Tuition Fees of Rs.75000/- and Non-interest bearing Refundable Deposit of  Rs.1,00,000/-

MODE OF PAYMENT

 Provisional Tuition Fees- Rs. 75,000/- by D/D (favouring SAINTGITS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, Payable at   Changanassery)  to be submitted at time of admission.

 Refundable Deposit - Rs.1,00,000/- within one month from the date of admission.

a. Candidates are advised to take photo copy of  certificates submitted to the office.

b. Candidates are advised to  bring  the tuition fees of Rs.75,000/- in the form of Two    D/Ds of  Rs. 65,000/- and Rs.  10,000/-    so  that he can use the latter for exercising his option to get waitlisted in case his preferred branch is not available at the time  of counselling                       

OPTIONS FOR WAITING LIST

In the event of a candidate not getting allotment in his/her preferred branch, the candidate can opt to be placed in  Waiting List provided a D/D of Rs. 10,000/- drawn in favour of SAINTGITS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING payable at Changanassery is submitted at the time of counseling. The said D/D will be returned on the cancellation of the candidate's waitlisted options.
