The remarkable growth of Electronics & Instrumentation technologies has been spurred by the advantages of smart-intelligent sensors and controllers with mobility, convenience, cost effectiveness & productivity. This symposium aims to provide a platform for upcoming engineers to express their ideas innovatively.

Instrumentation Engineers Techno Innovative Association
This association was started by the students of Applied Electronics and Instrumentation of SAINTGITS College of Engineering on the motto of providing a forum for pooling the knowledge and experience of Budding Engineers from various organizations interested in promoting development of Engineering & technology. It also act as an exchange bureau for dissemination of technical information by way of conducting National level Symposiums, workshops, Guest lectures, Seminars, Industrial visits, etc.

GENERAL GUIDELINES
* Accommodation will be provided on prior notification for both boys and girls.
* Candidates must bring their certificate from principal/HOD or their ID cards
* A team can participate maximum of three events
* Participation Certificate will be provided for all Participants
* . Registration starts at 8.30 AM
* Spot Registration is there for all events except Paper Presentation

BRICOLAGE (Paper Presentation) TOTAL PRIZE MONEY-5,500/-
*  Each team can have a maximum of two members.
* Duration of each presentation is 12 minutes and 3 minutes is allotted for interaction
* The paper should be based on any of the following topics:                       
o Robotics
o DCS and PLC
o MEMS and Nano Technology
o Virtual Instrumentation
o VLSI and Embedded Systems
o Image and Signal Processing
o Bio-Medical Instrumentation
o Neural networks and Fuzzy Control

* The paper should be sent to sferics@saintgits.org  on or before September 10th with contact number
* Selected teams will be informed personally
* Each team should bring 2 hard copies and 1 soft copy at the event.
* Judges decision will be final.
* Selected papers will be published in the technical magazine SFERICS

* Preliminary round will be there -contains written test-30 objective questions-time 30 minutes
* No negative marks will be there for the preliminary rounds

CUL-DE.-SAC (Circuit Debugging) TOTAL PRIZE MONEY-4,000/-
Circuit Debugging unleashes one's knowledge and intellect in the world of circuits. Its not only about the knowledge but also the time one takes to undo the implanted bugs and bring out the right circuit. Thus in this timely arena the timely correction and precise knowledge will crown you the master of circuits, so guys churn the wheels of knowledge and let the power of intellect be unleashed.


* A maximum of 2 students per team.
* Prelims will be an objective round of 30 minutes duration.
* Finals would be conducted in a time span of 1 hour.
* The decision of the judges will be final
* Team that clears all errors first will be declared winner otherwise the percentage of

MAELSTROM (Tech Hunt) TOTAL PRIZE MONEY-4,000/-

* Each team should consist of three members
* A preliminary round will be conducted for all teams out of which 5 teams will be on to the final round
* Each round will be a knock-out round, i.e. the last team to complete a round is eliminated
* The finalists are bound to obey the rules and regulations which will be conveyed to them at the start of each task
* The decision of the judges will be final

STRATAGEM (Network Gaming)   TOTAL PRIZE MONEY-4,000/-
By now most FPS (First Person Shooter) fans at least know that counter strike is and have likely played it or have seen it. For those of you who have recently been paroled from a lengthy incarceration or have awakened from a coma, counter strike is a team based tactical shooter that pits terrorists versus counter terrorists in round based match play.

In the games current incarnation, there are two game types -bombing and hostage rescue. Bombing map requires the terrorist team to plant and detonate a time bomb in one of two bombing areas. While the counter terrorists guard these sites.
In STRATAGEM the game type is bombing.

* Each team consists of 4 players.
* Console operations and cheats are not allowed.
* External hardware's or accessories like mouse, keyboard and headphones are not allowed.
* Auto snipers are not allowed.
* Any violation in above will lead to disqualification.
* Maps will be decided by the event heads.
* Any decision taken by event heads will be final.
