Mentoring System

Mentoring system consist of three staff members for each class. Twenty Students are allotted to each faculty and the system is designed so with an intention to provide personal attention  to each and every student.  Besides, each class do have a Chief Staff Advisor to monitor the whole system and also to inform the Head of the department regarding  the students which require counseling.Each student is provided with a profile to record all the matters regarding  his attendance, series marks, university marks, achievements, misbehaviours  etc.Parents can gather relevant information regarding their ward by contacting the respective Staff Advisor.
 

Departmental Hours

Departmental hours are included in the curriculum with an intention to mould the personality of each and every student to a competent one. It is achieved through different means like conducting Group Discussions, Aptitude Tests, Seminars on General Topics, Games etc. In addition to all ,Senoir Faculty members utilise the same hour for providing informations regarding the importance of  Paper Presentations, Journal Publications, In-house Projects etc.
 

Industrial Visits & Implant Training

Industrial Visits are clubbed togetner with  One Day, Five Day & Seven Day  education Tour in the third, fifth & seventh semester respectively. Students utilize it as an opportunity to educate themselves with current technologies & advancements in their respective field.

It is mandatory for each and every student to undergo In-plant training  after their sixth semester for a minimum period of one week. Training helps a student to mould his abilities in a professional manner.

Student Association

INERTIA - is the name for association of Applied Electronics and Instrumentation students. It conducted a National level technical symposium called SPERICS on August 2009. It provides exposure to emerging trends in electronics industry.

HOBBY CLUB

A Hobby Club is being organized for the students, where they can carry out small project works.
The Department has been organizing many faculty development programs, symposium, seminars & workshops. The Department is well equipped with all facilities like Standard labs, Department library, Seminar hall and Multimedia systems with internet facility.
