CSE & MCA Department of Saintgits College of Engineering, Kottayam has organised an International workshop on ' Open Source Tools for Engineering', on 30th of October 2009. Eminent academicians like Dr. Clif Kussmaul, Associate Professor of Computer Science at Muhlenberg College, Allentown, PA, USA and Dr. Achuth Sankar S Nair, Hon Director of the Center for Bioinformatics, University of Kerala lead the sessions. Hands on session in Scilab was also included.
