Quality Improvement Program

Faculty members of our department get many opportunities to expose themselves to the recent developments in technology, enabling them to update themselves and improve their quality.

Infosys Campus Connect Faculty Enablement Program & Train the Trainer

Faculty Enablement Program (FEP) and Train the Trainer (TTT) are two specific programs, tailor made by Infosys Technologies, and L&T InfoTech for the faculty members of Computer Science and Engineering Departments. FEP is a two week workshop on core computer subjects and TTT is a three day work shop on specific technologies.

Faculty members also get opportunities to work on research projects for a longer duration, in the Project Sabbatical scheme. Infosys Technologies has launched Campus Connect program, an industry - academia partnership initiative in our campus to deepen the industry-academia relationship, and create a strong foundation for the emerging knowledge economy in India. As a part of the Campus Connect initiative, Infosys has also hosted a Campus Connect portal to enable students and faculty to access technology related information and courseware that is relevant to the IT industry.

AICTE-QIP

Experienced faculty members also have opportunities to do higher studies in reputed institutions through the AICTE QIP program.

RHCE Training program

RHCE Training program started on 16th June 2008 was successfully completed on 19th July 2008 and the online RHCE examination was conducted by the Red Hat team from Bangalore, on 22nd and 23rd of July. Our students secured a very good result. 90% of them passed and 6 of them secured 100% marks in the exam.

OCA Training program

OCA Training program started on 16th June 2008 was successfully completed on 23rd July 2008. Oracle team conducted the OCA Examination on 11th and 12th of August 2008.
