Orientation for 5th Batch of MCA
The Session started with a Prayer song led by Jayadevan (S4 MCA) and followed by the Introductory Speech by Course co-ordinator Shri Shajan Joseph. The welcome note was a warm blanket for the new comers and definitely would have made them feel that they had taken the right path in selection of the course and the institution . Nevertheless the note had all the firmness to send the message firmly to the newcomers that the institution means and has only one business that is quality education.
Then The Lighting of Lamp was carried out by nominated students from the new comers. This event was indeed the marking of a turning point in all their lives. Lighting of a lamp is considered to be mark of respect to complete any task.
His Excellency The Director Shri Thomas.T.John shared his thought on this remarkable day., Principal Smt Amey George our beloved principal discussed about the course details, Rules and regulation of the institution. And Dr.T V Babu Rajendran, The Director Academics and Research indeed gave an inspiring speech and introduced the faculty members of MCA department. Finally Smt Bikku Abraham delivered the Vote of Thanks. The program came to an end with the national anthem which was sung by Jayadevan and group. |
