MoU

SAINTGITS College of Engineering has signed a MOU with Indian Institute of Welding (IIW) - Cochin Chapter

The MOU will enable

  • IIW to recognize SAINTGITS as its professional partner in the state of Kerala and in turn SAINTGITS to recognize IIW as its professional partner in the field of Welding Technology.

  • To set up a demonstration centre for energy efficient equipment.

  • To propose an Annual Welding Seminar and Exhibition at SAINTGITS.

  • To provide opportunities for students at undergraduate level of neighbouring institutions and research scholars at SAINTGITS for taking up research projects under the guidance of IIW.

Autodesk is a world leader in 3D design, engineering, and entertainment software and service. Since its introduction of AutoCAD software in 1982, Autodesk continues to develop the broadest portfolio of state-of-the-art 3D software for global markets. This is the first time Autodesk is entering into such a tie-up with any of the Colleges in Kerala.
Autodesk will offer SaintgitsGroup of Institutions free access to Autodesk’s leading 3D design software through the Autodesk Academic Resource Centerfor use in classrooms and labs on campus. By equipping students and educators with the same tools by industry professionals today, the collaboration will advance students’ practical knowledge and application of design technology to address real-world design challenges.  Additionally, the collaboration will see Autodesk working with Saintgits Group of Institutions to:

1.Develop discipline-specific design curricula which can be integrated into relevant digital courseware
 2.Advance faculty technical skills through training programs so they can further shape the classroom experience
3.Provide immersive learning opportunities such as national design competitions to students to showcase their creativity and skills and gain recognition
4.Offer opportunities for students to validate their skills through Autodesk certification program

MoU with KRDA [Kerala Rural Development Agency],Karunagappally

KRDA is a Non-Governmental Organization working in the field of community development and research since 1985. KRDA have been implementing various programmes with the support of national and international organizations like UNDP, ILO, Oxfam and the Agencies/Departments of Central and State Governments. Under this MoU, a project Green Weaver was done by our students.
