MDP at Kerala Institute of Co-operative Management (KICMA)

Prof. Subramoniam K. handled a one-day MDP on Banking in the training programme for Supervisory level Employees of Co-operative Societies conducted by Kerala Institute of Co-operative Management (KICMA) at Chaithanya Pateral centre on 17th Oct. 2012. 56 particpants (Branch Managers, Secretaries and Chief Accountants) attended the programme.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

MDP at  Meenachil East Urban Co-operative Bank, Poonjar

For staff of Meenachil East Urban Co-operative Bank, Poonjar, on 15th July, 2012.

MDP for Officials and Board Members of Panachikkad Regional Service Co-operative Bank

A  Management Development Programme for Officials and Board Members of Panachikkad Regional Service Co-operative Bank on Sunday 24th July, 2011, 10 a.m. to 5.15 p.m. The Venue was Saintgits Institute of Management and the Resource Person was Sri. K. Subramoniam, Assistant Professor of SIM.

The resource faculty engaged sessions on:

• Self-awareness and Change Management
• Profitability, Fund Management and ALM, Recovery Management
• Team Building and Customer Relationship Management
• Strategic Planning and Budgeting for organizational growth 
• Work-Life Balance and career- success

Sri. Mohan, President of the Bank inaugurated the programme and Sri. Purushothaman Nair, Secretary of the Bank proposed the vote of thanks. The programme was well-received by the participants who gave a good feedback on the content of the program.

 

MDP for Senior Consultants and Engineers at KITCO, Kochi

A MDP was conducted by Associate Prof Jacob George titled 'Team building in Present Times' for Senior Consultants and Engineers at KITCO, Kochi from September 19th to 20th in 2007. The MDP was given on the request by the Executive Director, KITCO who wanted to strengthen the team spirit of the KITCO team of Consultants/ Engineers. The MDP was conducted for two target audiences:


1. Senior Consultants: To enable the participants to give leadership to Project Engineers.
2. Project Engineers: To acquire Corporate Survival Skills that meets the organizational objective of satisfying customers.

MDP on Finance for Non Finance Executives: 

This one day Management Development Programme was conducted for the middle level managers of Synthite Group of Companies, Kolencherry, Ernakulum at its corporate office, Kolencherry.  The topics covered were financial statements and its interpretation, and working Capital management. Dr. Roji George MBA, PhD was the coordinator and main resource person for the program. He was supported by Mr. Raju P K, ACA, practicing Chartered Accountant from Cochin. Twenty middle level executives from marketing, HR, production and R & D attended and benefited from the programme.


MDP for Officials and Board Members of Co-operative Banks at Thalassery 

A one day Management Development Programme  for Officials and Board Members of Four Co-operative Banks at Thalassery was held on21st , August, 2011, Sunday, at Gokulam Fort, Thalassery. The resource faculty for the MDP was Sri. K. Subramoniam, Assistantt.Professor, SIM.


The resource faculty engaged sessions on:
a. Self-awareness and Change Management
b. Profitability, Fund Management and ALM, Recovery Management
c. Team Building and Customer Relationship Management
d. Strategic Planning and Budgeting for organizational growth and Turn Around Strategy 
e. Work-Life Balance and career- success

55 participants from Vengad Service Co-operative Bank, Pathiriyad service Co-operative Bank, Kunnirikka Service Co-operative Bank, Vadakkumpad Service Co-operative Bank and Members  and staff of Circle Co-operative Union and three Officers from State Co-operative Department took part in the MDP and benefitted from the same.

Sri. K.Suresh, Chairman, Thalassery Co-operative Urban Bank chaired the inaugural session.  Sri. Raveendranath, Asst.Registrar (general ) formally welcomed the participants and Sri.Hareendran, President of the Kannur District Co-operative  Bank inaugurated the programme.  Sri. Raveendran, Chair man of Co-operative Circle Union, Thalassery proposed vote of thanks.


The programme was well-received by the participants and gave good feedback.
