Course Content

Bachelor of Business Administration at Saintgits College of Applied Sciences (SCAS), course assists the student in understanding and developing the unique leadership qualities required for successfully managing business functions, an organizational unit or an enterprise. The BBA course is designed to give a broad awareness of the functional areas of an organisation and their interconnection in various business activities.  Students will gain practical experience in management, accounting, business law, finance, information systems, marketing, operations, and human resource management

 

Course Objectives:

The Department of BBA of SCAS aims at developing a student's intellectual ability, executive personality and managerial skills through an appropriate blending of business and general education.

  • Students can gain knowledge of business practices and processes and acquire an awareness of global business issues.
  • To communicate successfully through writing and in interpersonal communication.
  • To apply contemporary theories of organisational behaviour.
  • To manage administrative functions with respect to planning, organising, staffing and controlling.
  • To use information and communication technology effectively.

The BBA course at SCAS is in accordance to the revised Choice Based Credit & Semester System introduced by the M.G University. The course extends over a period of 3 years with two semesters per year with continuous internal evaluation and University examination at the end of each semester.
