Selection process

Selection Process

Selection Process for all Saintgits courses is in such a manner that 50% of the total seats are filled on merit and eligible community basis by M.G University through single window scheme (CAP).

 The remaining 50% seats are filled by the college based on the merit list prepared by the management. College receives the filled up application forms with the copies of 10th and Plus Two mark list and prepares a rank list on the basis of the guidelines issued by the university. Students are admitted based on the rank list.

Application Forms
The student seeking admission for the Saintgits course(B.Com/BCA/BBA/BA) should submit the Application form duly filled in the college office. The application form can be bought from the college office by paying a fee of Rs.400/-or can be downloaded from here.  and send to the College office along with a demand draft of Rs. 400/- favouring  - The Principal, Saintgits College of Applied Sciences, Payable at Kottayam
Documents to be submitted at the time of Admission
 
Applicants should have the following documents with them at the time of interview. 
Mark List original- 10th  & +2. 
Attested copy of 10th marklist  
Transfer Certificate.
Migration Certificate in the case of students from other universities and Boards except State Board.
Conduct Certificate from the head of the institution last attended.
Community Certificate in the case of S.C./S.T./OEC Students.
Eligibility Certificate from M.G. University:- for applicants outside Kerala.
Two passport size photographs.
Discontinuity Certificate from the university in case of student seeking admission after discontinuing a course.

Note: Certificates once submitted will not be returned to the students during the course except when leaving the college. Students are therefore advised for their own interest, to keep true copies of the certificates with them before submitting them for application. 
       
If a student who joins the course decides to drop out from the course he/she shall be liable to pay the entire course fee.

Fees once paid will not be refunded.

Anti Ragging Cell. Ragging is strictly prohibited in the campus. An Anti Ragging Cell is functioning in the college. Any complaint related to ragging of any kind can be brought to the notice of the cell/Principal. Those who indulge in any kind of ragging will be given punishment in accordance with the rules stipulated by the University/Govt.
