To promote Innovation &to strengthen the technology transfer interface between Academia, Industry R&D establishments and Entrepreneurs, Saintgits College of Engineering annually organizes SRISHTI, National Level Technical Project Exhibition and Competition in collaboration with various Multinational Organizations like National Instruments, ANSYS etc. Srishti was launched in 2014 and the event was sponsored by AICTE – IPS. Innovation gaining more relevance in the current engineering educational system, Srishtiintends to bring out practical talent among engineering students by providing a forum for exhibiting their innovative projects.Besides it is anopportunity for the student team members to interact with technology experts from various industries. Srishti is also featured with expert talks by eminent scientists from NPOL Kochi, IISc Bengaluru, ISRO Satellite Center etc for the purpose of updating the students with the latest technologies and innovations. Srishti acknowledges the “Best Innovator” with a cash of Rs 1, 00,000/- .In addition to this there is separate cash prizes for best projects from each Discipline [CE, ME, EEE, ECE, CSE & AEI], Best project from the focus segment of the year & best faculty guide. Besides, the best institution is acknowledged with an ever rolling trophy too.

‘Srishti 2014 – i2i Ideas To Implementation’, an AICTE-IPS sponsored ‘All Kerala
Technical Project Exhibition and Competition’ for Engineering Colleges was organised by
SAINTGITS College of Engineering on 25th & 26th Feb 2014. It was First of its kind in Kerala and was associated with AICTE-IPS, Kerala Financial Corporation, Startup Village, Naval Physics and Oceanographic Laboratory along with SAINTGITS Industrial Research Centre and SAINTGITS Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Inauguration: Sri K.Jose Cyriac IAS, Chairman -Kerala State Innovation Council inaugurated Srishti 2014, Dr. A.V. George, Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam presided over the inauguration and Sri P.Joy Oomen IAS,CMD Kerala Financial Corporationdelivered the Keynote Address on 25th Feb 2014.


The Srishti 2015 was organized in association with Kerala Financial Corporation, Startup Village, Technopark TBI (TTBI), Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) along with SAINTGITS Industrial Research Center and SAINTGITS Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Sri KochousephChittilipilly , Chairman –V-Guard Group of Industries inaugurated Srishti 2015, Mr. Thomas T John, Director, SAINTGITS Group of Institutions presided over the function  and  Er. K. George Kottukulam delivered the Keynote Address on 13th  Feb 2015.

A panel of judges chaired by Mr.Sameer Abdul Azeez,Scientist at the Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL), Kochi visited the exhibition stalls and evaluated the projects in two phases to select The Best Innovation award worth Rs One Lakh and Best projects from six technical streams worth Rs 12000/- each and the best agricultural project worth Rs 10000/-. The visitors were given the privilege to elect the most popular award.

  1. College of Engineering has organized its 3rdedition of SRISHTI, a technical project exhibition and competition for engineering students on 27-28th January 2016. Saintgits Centre for Innovation & Entrepreuership(SCIE) along with Saintgits Industrial research Center (SIRC), and Saintgits Boot Camp( SBC) conducted Srishti 2016 as a National level programme , in association with National Instruments (NI) India, Kerala Financial Corporation(KFC), Entreprenuer Development Institute (EDI) India, and Kerala Startup Mission. There were two levels of competitions:
  1. College Level: National Level Technical project exhibition & Competition for Engineering College Students.
  2. School level: Kerala State Level Robotic Championship for school students.

The aim of Srishti was to promote the innovative and entrepreneurship talents of young engineering students in our nation. Srishti 2016 focused its theme as “Technology for Rural Development” in order to scale and integrate the technologies with the daily lives in rural areas.Nationwide engineering students in various disciplines were competed each other to bag the “Best innovation prize" of Rupees 1 lakh. There are separate prizes for best projects from each discipline, theme and participating institutions. The best project based on Lab VIEWwas awarded attractively by our industrial partner- National Instruments IndiaS. Best mentor and popular project were also recognized.

To enhance the critical thinking and creativity in school students, Saintgits Robotics Club in association with IEEE students’ chapter conducted project based- hands on training on ROBOTICS to staff and students of various schools in Kerala. A State level robotic championship for schools was held along with Srishti
