NAKSHATRA

Saintgits College of Engineering has been maintaining high standards in both the academic and extra-curricular realms of activities for the past 15 years, right from its inception in the year 2002. NAKSHATRA is the annual techno-cultural festival of the college, usually held at the beginning of every year. Over 4500 students from engineering colleges across India arrive at the campus to attend this mega event to perform and showcase their artistic and technical excellence in the competitions and cultural events. While the technical events delve deep into the exploration of science and technology as well as the accumulation of knowledge, the non-technical side deals with the discovery and refining of the hidden talents of students in fine arts. This extravaganza is an action-packed two-day carnival that promises unforgettable memories and experiences.

SAMYOG

With the motto of promoting technology and innovation, Saintgits College of Engineering hosts national level technical fest every year, since 2002. The annual event is one of the largest of its kind that provides an arena for more than 4500 students from various reputed engineering colleges across the country to showcase their technical skills in cutting edge technology and winning attractive prizes in fierce competitions. The fest is entirely managed by the students of Saintgits College of Engineering where the coordinators and organizers along with their respective staff in-charges work in sync to execute and implement the splendid spectacle.

SRISHTI

To promote Innovation &to strengthen the technology transfer interface between Academia, Industry R&D establishments and Entrepreneurs, Saintgits College of Engineering annually organizes Srishti, a National Level Technical Project Exhibition and Competition in collaboration with various Multinational Organizations like National Instruments, ANSYS etc. Srishti was launched in 2014 and it has been gained popularity among the students. Innovation is gaining more relevance in the current engineering educational system and Srishti intends to bring out practical talent among engineering students by providing a forum for exhibiting their innovative projects. Besides it is an opportunity for the students to interact with technology experts from various industries. Srishti also featured expert talks by eminent scientists from NPOL Kochi, IISc Bengaluru, ISRO Satellite Center etc. for the purpose of updating the students with the latest technologies and innovations. Srishti acknowledges the “Best Innovator” with a cash of Rs 1,00,000/-. In addition to this there is separate cash prizes for best projects from each Discipline [CE, ME, EEE, ECE, CSE & AEI], best project from the focus segment of the year & best faculty guide. The best institution is also acknowledged with an ever-rolling trophy.
