SIMTHESIS, the National Level Management Fest, hosted by Saintgits Institute of Management, has successfully accomplished its 11th edition. The event was inaugurated by Mr.P.R Satheesh , COO Malayalam Manorama TV Ltd. The best minds from B-schools in and around South India competed to test their business mettle. The fest was organised for two days, starting from 30th October to 31st October 2018. The theme for the year was Artificial Intelligence. There was an overwhelming response of 466 participants from colleges across south. It was followed by a well-co-ordinated series of events for UG and PG students. The UG events were Potential Manager, Finance Game, General Quiz and Choreo Dance which concluded by the first day. The PG events were Best Manager, Best Management Team, Finance Game, HR Game, Marketing Game, Business Quiz, and Business Plan. The combined event for PG and UG was Corporate Walk. Spot events were Treasure Hunt, Spot Dance and Spot Photography. There were three online events which gained enormous popularity – TikTok, Photography and Selfie Contest. The overall championship was bagged by Sahrdaya Institute of Management, Thrissur. The feedback received from participants, particularly for the hospitality extended, was very positive and emboldening.
10th edition of Simthesis was held on 26th and 27th of September 2017. Shri Johny Lukose, News Director, Manorama News was the Chief Guest. The event witnessed a record participation of 622 students from 52 Colleges. 447 students representing 29 Post Graduate Colleges and 175 students representing 23 Under Graduate Colleges from various parts of the country participated for the various events of Simthesis 10.0.

SIMTHESIS 8.0 witnessed participation from over 47 colleges and over 450 participants from different parts of the country.
SIMTHESIS 7.0, a two day national level management fest organized by SIM, was jointly inaugurated by two entrepreneur couples, Ms. JyotiAswani and Mr. Deepak Aswani of AswaniLachmandas Group and Ms. Shiney Sebastian and Commander Maxie Jose of Affluenz Financial Services, on 24th October 2014 at 10.00 am at the college amphi theatre. Sri.ThomasT.John, Director, Saintgits Group of Professional Institutions presided over the function and Sri.Punnose George, Executive Chairman& Secretary, Saintgits Group of Professional Institutions, Dr. Roji George, Dean, Saintgits Institute of Management &Dr.Thomas Varghese, Associate Dean, Saintgits Institute of Management, were present during the function, as informed by the fest coordinator Dr. Ajith Thomas. Around 500 students from over 45 colleges participate in the fest. The students of various management institutions and undergraduate management colleges across South India, will lock horns in a series of uniquely formulated events, putting their managerial skills and business knowledge, to the test. It is expected to become one of the largest platforms in South India, for managerial prowess and will provide a plethora of events and activities that 'inspire innovation' among aspiring managers.

Director of Saintgits Group, Sri John Jacob the Chief Operating officer, Dr, Roji George, Dean, SIM and Prof Thomas Varghese, Associate Dean of SIM. Prof. Subramoniam the Faculty Coordinator of SIMTHESIS 6.0 briefed on the events.The student coordinators Elsa Jose and Faris Mohammed delivered the welcome speech and vote of thanks .
More than 500 students from 45 B- Schools participated in the event.The students of SIM hosted cultural programs on 5th evening followed by a DJ.
SIMTHESIS 6.0 ended with a valedictory function which honoured the coordinators and participant winners.SCMS Cochin bagged the overall Championship of the event.
The student organized Management Fest was held on 2nd and 3rd November 2012 at the amphitheatre as main venue and different adjoining rooms, cultural centre and SIM class rooms as additional venues. The event was co-ordinated jointly by SIM Faculty members: Asst Prof Bindu John, Asst Prof Elizabeth Dominic and Prof Thomas Varghese and was well supported by all students, faculty members, staff, associate Dean and Saintgits Management. This was appreciated by all participating colleges.

The logo of Simthesis was an S with 3 'I's standing for Imagine, Innovate and Implement and 'S' representing Saintgits.
The student co-ordinators of the event were Juby George, IssacKoshy, Aiswarya D Pillai, Binsa Baby, John Tom and Aswathy V Sivan. In all sixteen sub committees were formed.
The event was inaugurated by Mr SR Nair, President, Kerala Management Association and MD Team Fropntline. The inaugural speech focused on employer expectation of recruits and the need for adapting to the work environment. All management team and faculty of SIM along with Principal &HoDs of Engineering college attended the function.
344 students from 41 colleges participated in the competitions. Colleges from outside Kerala including PSG Coimbatore, Christ College Bangalore, Karunya Coimbatore, Marian College Marthandam etc. participated.
Brochures and Guidelines for competition were circulated in advance and process of selecting overall champions was published before events. The judges were with adequate experience. All events had at least one external judge, mostly with corporate experience and an internal judge. We have utilised the services of our Alumni students who are holding relevant posts as event judgesalongwith other external judges. Schedule of events, published in advance were strictly adhered to. No complaints were received about scheduling, timing, venues or judgements.
The Business Quiz was held using internal resources. Prof. Thomas Varghese, supported by a team of students conducted the Quiz. The evening provided an opportunity to relax, where students of Saintgits Institute of Management displayed excellent skills in cultural events and was followed by DJ conducted in a disciplined manner.
Most of the final rounds were held on the second day. The team from Federal Institute of Management, became the champions with 33 points and took home the ever-rolling overall trophy.
The event was concluded with a valedictory function chaired by our CEO, ErPunnoose George. Winners and participants were awarded certificates. The trophies and cash prizes were presented by CEO, Associate Dean and Event Co-ordinator.

The previous editions of Simthesis were well appreciated by the management student community and had attracted very good participation. This intellectually stimulating platform helps the students to develop themselves in to management professionals par excellence.

Major events of Simthesis 2011 were Best Manager, Best Management Team, Business Quiz, Debate and competitions from different functional areas like Marketing, HR and Finance. Student's participation has been excellent and this year more than 400 students from 36 institutions from different parts of the state and outside took part.
The chief guest Dr Benny Joseph, Head HR of UST Global, while inaugurating Simthesis gave a strong message to the students on the expectations of the industry and the need to be employable. In 2010, Dr. GopalkrishnaPillai, MD of INKEL and former CMD FACT, had shared his thoughts on ethical management and value system in management profession.
Cultural programs conducted by SIM students provided relaxation and entertainment. The events were held with good competitive spirit and demonstrated high quality. It was a great learning experience for students in planning and holding an even and this year a big lesson in crisis management as a general strike called on 5th November was expected to disrupt the second day's program. Students organized the event and participation of all by proper contingency planning. The co-ordination between students, faculty and the management in the holding of Simthesis and the Alumni support was well appreciated
