Autonomous

Marking the start of a new chapter in the Kerala’s higher education sector, the University Grants Commission (UGC) has conferred autonomous status to three engineering colleges in the state including Saintgits College of Engineering.

Saintgits has been granted Autonomous status by University Grants Commission (UGC), making us one among the first three Engineering Colleges in Kerala to achieve this coveted status. The Autonomy conferred is in recognition of the academic excellence, expert faculty, industry connect, placement records, extracurricular activities and state of the art infrastructure sustained by the institution since its inception.

Saintgits has carved its niche in the global arena with its fastidious approach to quality education and exemplifies its motto “learn, grow, excel” in every step towards brilliance. In addition to the Autonomous status, Saintgits is the only un-aided institution in Kerala offering 7 NBA accredited programmes in B. Tech., MBA and MCA, promising better academic and research exposure along with diverse career opportunities to the students. In accordance with emerging technologies, the institution offers trending courses like Robotics & Automation, Chemical Engineering and Food Technology along with conventional courses to enable students to cater to the needs of the industry and the corporate world. The Autonomous status inspires us to strive towards excellence and set new standards in academic realm through education.
