The Saintgits Design Aptitude Test (SDAT) is an interactive evaluation uniquely designed to connect design aspirants with Saintgits Design School. This two-stage assessment helps us understand your natural aptitude, genuine interest, and overall capability as a design aspirant.

SDAT Stage 1 – Task-Based Assessment: This stage is an online assignment that you will complete and upload to the SDAT portal. Our team will contact you with the specific details of your task via your registered email. Please note that this is a time-sensitive assignment and must be submitted within the allotted timeframe. Your submission will be assessed by a panel of experts, and the results will be communicated to you via email.
SDAT Stage 2 – Interview-Based Assessment: Candidates who successfully clear Stage 1 will be invited for a face-to-face personal interview. In this stage the completed task and the portfolio of the students will be assessed by a panel of experts. The primary venue is Saintgits Design School in Kottayam, with additional interview centers available in select cities on specified dates.

Step 3: Admission & Scholarships

Tips to make a Good Portfolio

+

Candidates are expected to bring a portfolio at the time of interview. The portfolio should mirror your personality and can be a collection of your creative works. The main objective of the portfolio is to display your aptitude for a career in design.

Only original works should be included, plagiarised work, replication of famous works or fan art are best avoided. More than the quantity of work, quality and variety should be focussed upon. Don’t clutter your portfolio, leave ample margins and breathing space between works. Make sure to title and label your works neatly.
