Communication Design

Acquiring basic skills and though processes for a career in design after two semesters of a common foundation programme, students who opt for Communication design as their discipline of choice learn more aspects of their discipline though lectures, assignments and projects. They learn Semiotics, branding, motion graphics, video editing, sound mixing, printing and production methods, publication design, type design, interface design, animation, 3d graphics, packaging design, signage and wayfinding design, immersive media design, data visualisation, film making, Vfx and more in the next two years. Courses in sustainable design, system design and an exposure to design practice and management makes them industry ready and planet-friendly. Writing a paper exposes them to research and by the final project, they are ready to specialise in one area.
