Roin J Vithayathil

He started his career in design at Panasonic India (Mumbai), working with the design team helped him to develop a sense of how design works in the industry. The team worked along with the Product Development Department focusing on wiring devices in creating products like modular switches, Bulb holders, power strips, Multi plugs, door bells etc. He has worked on various freelance projects which includes Product Design, Interaction Design, Packaging Design, Branding and Logo Design. Here are some of his works from the past.

Product Design

Working with a startup company FLOAT based in Kochi, He designed and developed an automatic sanitizer dispenser. The prototypes were made collaborating with manufacturers and Engineers using 3D printing.

Interaction Design

He has worked on freelance UI/UX projects and also took part in various workshops related to the subject. He has worked in the EdTech company ImaginXP as a UX Faculty and consulting UX Researcher for the development of the application ‘MyCoach’.

Packaging Design

He worked with Self Employed Women’s Association (SEWA) an NGO working towards employment of Women in rural sectors to create innovative and cost effective packaging for their cattle food. He has worked with Thripti, a food distribution company based in USA on their food packaging.

Branding

He has designed logos & branding for companies in various business sectors like Retail, Automobile, Import & Export, Fire and safety, Social Media, Cafe etc.
