Welcome to the Department of Computer Applications.
The department started functioning in the year 2004 with MCA regular course with an intake of 60 students. In 2014, Lateral MCA with an intake of 60 seats and in 2019, Integrated MCA course with an intake of 60 students started. Department has well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty. The department is also well equipped with state of the art laboratories.
Department is always keen to impart high quality education through theoretical and practical sessions. Department strives for the holistic development of the students by a number of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The department takes every step to improve the computational and critical thinking skills of the students. The department focuses mainly on Outcome Based Education and is striving at its best to make the students knowledgeable in latest technologies, languages and tools.
The department is always looking forward in the revision of the syllabus which is the need of the hour. This makes our students always updated with the latest requirements and trends of the industry. Many of the faculty of the department are actively involved in syllabus restructuring, for which our faculty are getting trained through various FDPs and workshops. Project based learning is a major practice in the department, which makes our students live confidently in this competitive world.
