Simthesis, is a National Level Management Fest, hosted by Saintgits Institute of Management since 2007. The best minds from B-schools in and around South India competed to test their business mettle. The fest was organized for two days in October 2018 with the theme of Artificial Intelligence. There was an overwhelming response of more than 500 participants, attending the event from colleges across south India.
Key events: Best Manager, Best Management Team, Finance Game, HR Game, Marketing Game, Business Quiz, and Business Plan.
Other events: Corporate Walk, Spot events like Treasure Hunt, Spot Dance, and Spot Photography are very popular among students.

SIMTHESIS 15.0
Simthesis 15.0, hosted on the 2nd and 3rd of November, 2023 unfolded with the vibrant theme “Bizzwood” focusing on the intersection of business and the world of cinema. The event brought together 588 participants from 48 colleges across India, creating a dynamic and diverse atmosphere for exchange and competition. Mr. Venkitraman Anand, Chief Executive of Harrisons Malayalam, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. His presence added immense value to the event, providing insights from the corporate world and bridging the gap between industry and academia.
With a total prize pool of 2 lakh, Simthesis 15.0 featured an array of events catering to diverse interests. The event comprised 8 postgraduate (PG) events, 6 undergraduate (UG) events, and 5 common events. The events were meticulously designed to test the participants’ creativity, strategic thinking and business acumen. In the management domain, individual events such as “Best Manager” and “Potential Manager” were conducted for both PG and UG students. Group events, including “Best Management Team,” “HR Game,” “Marketing Game,” and “Finance Game,” were held with 4 members in each team. These events provided a real-world simulation, testing the participants’ ability to navigate complex business scenarios. Simthesis 15.0 included intellectually stimulating events like “Business Analytics,” “Business Quiz,” and “General Quiz,” engaging teams of 2 members each. These tested participants’ knowledge, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, adding an element of academic rigor to the event. Beyond the business-centric activities, Simthesis 15.0 also featured entertaining and inclusive common events. Participants showcased their spontaneity in “Spot Photography,” strategic prowess in the “FIFA 2024” gaming competition, artistic expression in “Group Dance,” corporate finesse in “Corporate Walk,” and their adventurous spirit in “Treasure Hunt.” The competition was severe and ultimately, Christ College Bangalore emerged as the overall champions in the Postgraduate category and Saintgits College of Applied Science emerged victorious in the Undergraduate category, showcasing outstanding performance.
The event organizing committee comprised Associate Professor Dr. Deepthi Sankar, Assistant Professor Mr. Cyriac Jose, and Assistant Professor Ms. Essa Mariam Joseph. Student core committee members were Mr. Aaruni Abraham, Ms. Nandana R, Ms. Amrita J, Mr. Anandhu T.D, Ms. Dimithra Dalan, Mr. Harkish Binukumar, Mr. Nithin Kurian Jacob and Ms. Sona Maria George from batch 2022-24; Ms. Deborah Susan Aniyan, Mr. Niffin Thomas Abraham, Mr. Sandeep Santhosh and Ms. Sandra S from batch 2023-25.
SIMTHESIS 14.0
SIMTHESIS 14.0 , the annual management meet of Saintgits Institute of Management held on November 17 & 18, 2022 (Thursday & Friday). More than 540 students from 56 campuses participated. Eighteen events are organized in total (Seven events for PG, Six for UG and Five Non-Management events). The Major events of the program include Best Manager, Best Management Team, Finance Game, Marketing Game, HR Game, Business Plan and Business Quiz. Non Management events include Spot Photography, Spot Dance, Treasure Hunt, Corporate Walk and gaming arena(FIFA 2023).
The programme was inaugurated by Ms. Sujata Madhav Chandran, on November 17th. Ms. Sujata Madhav Chandran has 30 years of experience in the IT industry and is currently Head – Strategic Initiatives, Digital Transformation Services for NGM and is based at TCS Kochi.
