The World Earth Day was celebrated on April 22nd, 2024, at the seminar hall, featuring a lively affair packed with activities aimed at raising awareness about protecting our planet. The highlight of the event was a panel discussion, where two members from each group shared their thoughts on different environmental issues. Following this, skit performances were presented by each group, addressing respective environmental topics. The event commenced at 1:10pm with a prayer song by Aneeta B Nath and Deborah Susan (S2-A), followed by a welcome speech by Gitty Mary George (S2-A), and inspiring messages about the importance of environmental care by Abin Chakkunni (S2-A). It ended at 3:10pm with a vote of thanks by Gurunanma S (S2-B) and the National Anthem performed by Aadhika Nizar and Devika Gopan (S2-B). Skillful anchoring was provided by Arathy Vinod and Sandra Santhosh (S2-B). Thanks to the hard work of our coordinators, M Vyshak Menon & Stephani Sunil (S2-A), the event ran smoothly, leaving us all feeling inspired to do our part for the environment.
