40 students of the BBA department along with 2 faculty members went on a three day study tour to Wayanad and Kozhikode from 26th January 2026 to 28th January 2026, It also included an industrial visit to Harrison Malayalam Tea Estate and Factory.
The Department of Business Administration organized a farewell programme for the final-year students on 4 March 2026 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., hosted by the second-year students. Principal Dr. Mathew Jacob, HoD Ms. Rani Tom, and faculty members shared their messages and wishes with the outgoing batch. The programme included video presentations, games, best title award presenting and feedback sharing, followed by lunch with faculty and invited teachers from other departments.The event was coordinated by Assistant Professor Ms. Punnya Sudhakaran.
An industrial visit was organized for the 53 students of the first-year BBA program to Malayala Manorama on October 8. 2025. The visit was intended to provide students with practical insights into the functioning of a leading media organization.

The Department of Business Administration, in association with IQAC, organized the inauguration of MAGNUM, the department’s domain-related association, on 6th August 2025 at the DB Seminar Hall. Dr. Roji George, Professor & Vice Principal, Saintgits College of Engineering, served as the resource person and spoke on the role of student clubs in fostering leadership, teamwork, and domain expertise.
The Department of Business Administration at Saintgits College of Applied Sciences conducted an enlightening session on Fire Safety Awareness, aimed at equipping students with essential knowledge and practical strategies to respond effectively during fire-related emergencies. The workshop emphasized the importance of preparedness, quick decision-making, and the role of civic services in disaster management.

The second-year BBA students of Saintgits College of Applied Sciences visited KSE Ltd., Vedagiri Unit on 8th October 2025 as part of their industrial visit. The students learned about the cattle feed manufacturing process, from raw material consumption to finished goods and packaging. The visit provided practical insights into production and operations management. The program was coordinated by Asst. Prof. Punnya Sudhakaran.
The Department of Business Administration, under the Management Association (MAGNUM) in association with IQAC, organised “Culture Quest” – Global Company Culture Day Quiz on 19th September 2025 at Multimedia Room. The quiz was designed to promote awareness about diverse corporate cultures across the globe and to help students appreciate the role of cultural intelligence in professional success.
