Ms. Punnya Sudhakaran is an Assistant Professor at Saintgits College of Applied Sciences and a research scholar at Mahatma Gandhi University. She holds an MBA in Finance and Human Resource Management and a B. Com in Finance and Taxation from Mahatma Gandhi University. She qualified UGC-NET in Management in the June 2026 examination with a percentile score of 98.88. She has also qualified for Ph.D. admission twice.

Her teaching interests also include helping students develop soft-skill development and practical data analysis using Excel, Jamovi and SPSS. She is keen to make classroom learning more engaging through innovative teaching tools and has designed Enhance Your Executive Essentials, an add-on course focused on communication, confidence and leadership. She has also contributed to question bank preparation for MGU-UGP students.

Her research interests span human resource management, HR analytics, artificial intelligence and prompt engineering. She has presented and published papers through academic conferences and contributed a book chapter on emerging approaches in marketing, branding and consumer insights. She continues to develop her teaching and research practice through Coursera courses, workshops and faculty development.

Ms. Punnya Sudhakaran received the Best Outstanding Academic and Non-Academic Performer Award from Girideepam Business School in 2022 and the Best Outgoing Student Award from Baker College for Women in 2020. During her undergraduate studies, she served as Chairperson of the College Union in 2019-20 and General Secretary of the College Syndicate in 2018-19.
