The Department of Business Administration has conducted a Mock GD and Interview session on 27th and 28th February 2024 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. On 27th February 2024, Ms. Shino Abraham, Assistant Professor, Saintgits Institute of Management conducted a Mock GD session. On 28th February 2024, Dr. Amlin David, Assistant Professor, Saintgits Institute of Management conducted a Mock interview session.
The Department of Business Administration, in collaboration with the NIPM Student Chapter, Kottayam and IQAC, hosted an enlightening session titled “HR Career Mapping: An Expert Talk” featuring Mr. Cyriac Patani, the esteemed General Manager (Circulation) at Malayala Manorama, Kottayam on 14th February 2024. Participants gained profound insights into strategic career planning, skill development, and seizing opportunities for growth within the HR domain.

The department of Business Administration has organized a study tour to Coorg – Chikkmagaluru – Belur from 24th to 28th January 2024, final year BBA students as part of the BBA curriculum. The Journey began from 24th January evening at 5:30pm from the college and reached back on 28th January morning at 10:00am.
The department of Business Administration has organized an industrial visit to ASAP Community Skill Park, Pampady on 22nd January 2024, for fifth semester BBA students from 9:15 am to 12:00pm as part of the BBA curriculum.

The E-cell of the department of Business Administration in association with IQAC
and IEDC organized a talk titled “Monetary Marvels” on 9th January 2024, focusing on the art of generating income through skills and products. The event attracted students from diverse departments who sought insights into innovative ways of making money.
The department of BBA has conducted a visit to CSI Girls home, Pallom and has distributed cakes to 40 poor houses in Salvia Colony as part of Christmas celebration on 20/12/2023.
The E- cell of the department of Business Administration has conducted a talk – Earnology: The science of earning money for BBA first and second year students on December 13th in room no. 302 from 9:15 am to 10:15 am by Ben Sunny Varughese, Thimothy K. Abraham and Shaun Mathew Thomas, second year students of BBA.

The NIPM Student Chapter of the Department of Business Administration at Saintgits College of Applied Sciences, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and NIPM Kottayam Group, successfully organized SUITS Season 2, a comprehensive event aimed at discovering and nurturing the future HR professionals. The event was conducted on October 11th and 12th, 2023, and saw the enthusiastic participation of 23 teams from various institutions under the Saintgits Group of Institutions.
Third-year BBA students Allen Abraham Aju, Babiker Hashim Elbanna, Kenn Zacharia, and Abel Joy Thomas won first position. At the same time, Alwin Easow Viji (S5 A Bcom), Aron Mathews (P5), Ayesha Nasser (P5), and Nandana Warrior (S3 B Bcom) got the second position. First-year BBA students Sidharth Suresh, Alan Joseph, Aswin T. S., and Leon Anil Joseph took third place.
In addition to their impressive achievements in the SUITS 02 competition, it’s worth noting that prize money of 8000 was generously sponsored by Vellapally Brothers, Designers, Engineers, and Contractors, located in Kottayam.

On July 11th, 2023, the Department of Business Administration’s NIPM Student Chapter at Saintgits College of Applied Sciences organized an event for the distribution of NIPM membership certificates and a talk with Mr. C P Simon, a labour welfare and industrial relations expert. The purpose of the event was to provide students with practical insights into Human Resource Management.
Management Association – MAGNUM
Magnum- Management Association ‘MAGNUM’ started functioning in the college in 2014 as an initiative of the BBA Department. It is a platform for identifying and enhancing the skills and talents of students. It conducts different programs within the institution, social responsibility programs for the benefit of society and organizes intercollegiate programs. The association aims to develop managerial skills like communication skills, presentation skills, leadership skills, interpersonal skills etc.
