1.Identification of Internship Firm
Students may either identify a firm for the On-the-Job Training (OJT) themselves or the department will assign one.
OJT placements may include CA firms, asset management companies, Cochin Port, mortgage firms, cooperative banks, private banks, etc.
2. Duration
The OJT will have a duration of one month.
3. Faculty Guide Assignment
Each student will be assigned a faculty guide to provide direction and support throughout the OJT.
The faculty guide must contact the student’s parents for consent and also communicate with the responsible officer of the firm to establish a mutual agreement.
4. Issuance of Linkage Letter
The department faculty in charge of OJT will issue the Linkage Letter (in two copies) only after receiving confirmation from the assigned faculty guide.
5. Submission Requirements
After completing the OJT, students must obtain the seal and signature of the partnering firm on one copy of the linkage letter.
This, along with the OJT completion certificate and a brief report on the work undertaken, must be submitted to the college.
6. Monitoring and Inspection
Random inspections will be carried out during the OJT period by the assigned faculty members.
7.Compilation of Documents
Class teachers are responsible for compiling the certificates and linkage letters within one month of OJT completion
