ASCE Saintgits Student Chapter is a pioneer in concrete canoe construction in Kerala and provided a golden opportunity for students from various colleges to have exposure to the concrete canoe construction prerequisites. A session was organized as part of Venusats 2022, on 17th December 2022. The session gave an introduction to construction, project management, material procurement, hull design, structural analysis, and mix design of concrete canoes. The workshop was divided into four sessions, Hull Design, Mix Design, Structural Design, and Construction handled by Devesh K Nampoothri, Anijith CU, Jesty Ann John, and Don James respectively. A total of 17 external participants and 29 internal participants attended the workshop.
