ICI Saintgits Student chapter organised an earthquake simulation competition ‘TOWER TEST’ on 14th May 2024 at Visvesvaraya block (VB 505) of Saintgits College of Engineering. Students of all semesters and departments participated in the event. The event aimed to showcase the innovative designs of resilient model structures capable of withstanding simulated seismic forces. The event promotes the exchange of ideas and knowledge among students, faculty, and encourage creativity and practical application of engineering concepts. Overall, earthquake simulation competition ‘TOWER TEST’ was a resounding success. ‘TOWER TEST’ created a platform for students to join and innovate solutions for a standing issue in our current global circumstances. The event demonstrated the dedication and commitment of the ICI Saintgits Students Chapter to promote learning, research, and practical application of engineering.
