Association Excel
EXCEL the Exquisite Computer Engineers League, is a group consisting of Computer Engineering students of Saintgits College of Engineering. The activities of Excel include conducting national seminars, inter college competitions, workshop etc. There are a few programs organized under the banner of EXCEL. It includes PC Hardware and Networking workshop for 85 students. It was conducted by Corona Infotech, Kottayam. A personality development program by TIME, Trivandrum was also conducted. Apart from these, various social activities like blood donation, raising funds to help the distressed and poor etc are often conducted.
Jyothirgamaya
Jyothirgamaya is a community-oriented initiative of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The programme is organized by BTech students with guidance and support from the Computer Science and Engineering department. Every year we train and support school kids on various IT related topics which are designed to help students with their academic performance and also pave the way to kindle their interest in Science and Engineering.
Jyothirgamaya 2020 – Six schools were selected for the program, CMS LP School Punnaveli, Govt. LP School Pathamuttom and Govt. LPB School Vakathanam.
