With our B.Tech degree in Electronics (VLSI Design and Technology), you’ll be in high demand by top-tier semiconductor companies, integrated circuit manufacturers, research and development organizations. The usual starting salaries for a fresher role in a VLSI company can vary from Rs 10 lakhs per annum to Rs 20 lakhs per annum, depending upon the company, with an average annual salary of Rs 14 lakhs per annum. However, the average annual salary in a relevant multinational company for beginners varies between Rs 30 lakh to Rs 80 lakh per annum, as per AICTE..

With great pride, I welcome you to the B.Tech. Program in Electronics Engineering (VLSI Design & Technology), launched in 2023 under the Department of Electronics Engineering at Saintgits College of Engineering. The department offers four B.Tech. programs – Electronics and Communication Engineering, Robotics and Automation, Electronics and Computer Engineering, and Electronics Engineering (VLSI Design & Technology) – along with M.Tech. programs in VLSI & Embedded Systems and Robotics & Automation. This program focuses on the rapidly growing field of VLSI (Very Large Scale Integration) design and semiconductor technology, equipping students with skills in chip design, embedded systems, digital electronics, and fabrication processes. It prepares students to meet the increasing demand for VLSI professionals in industries like semiconductor design, electronics, embedded systems, and IoT. With expert faculty, advanced labs, and strong industry linkages, the program offers hands-on training and practical exposure to the latest tools and technologies.
