Overview
The Electrical and Electronics Engineering department at Saintgits prides itself for being not only one of the founding departments but also one that secured a University rank from among the very first batch of graduates (2006). The post-graduate program in Power Systems was launched in 2008. The department offers a complete experiential learning experience through renowned and experienced faculty, excellence in research, technical workshops, camps and industrial visits. Electrical and Electronics Engineering is a dynamic and exciting field. Students get a complete understanding of electrical engineering, including generation, transmission, control and utilization of electrical power, and of electronics engineering, including the fundamentals of electronic circuits, communications, computer networks, microcomputer chips, digital and power electronics. The students are also familiarized with different electrical machines, electronic devices, and computer programming through industrial grade laboratories.
